Oilpaintings One of my favourite subjects is painting men. Oilpaintings in dark colours or just bright and joyfull, naked or dressed, entruiging and sensual. It's not about putting down a sexobject, but showing another side of sensuality or just display the beauty of men in a different or even distorted way. Technically my work is built up in several layers of oilpaint and I take my time for each painting. That's why this medium is very pleasant for me to work with.

PARADISO

Distant travels and exciting encounters. What was normal once to travel and meet people has almost become a fading memory due to a worldwide pandemic. What is still set in your mind slowly becomes a fading memory, like a filter of time erasing your holiday snapshots.

DECAY

Dandys, impeccable and androgynous. As a basis, four old lists found inspired me to a series of portraits that radiate transience. Torn placards, hidden texts and faded beauty executed in oil on board and as a finishing touch a thick glossy epoxy layer.
